About Next Wave Supports
Next Wave Supports was founded by Clover Laurier, drawing on more than 30 years of experience across disability, community development, training, program design and complex care.
Clover has extensive experience working directly with people with disability and NDIS participants, alongside qualifications in business, program development, project management and community development. Throughout her career, she has developed, managed and contributed to a range of community-based programs, social initiatives and collaborative projects, with particular expertise across disability, homelessness, mental health, addiction, social inclusion and community capacity building.
Her experience also includes working with diverse and CALD communities, community consultation, co-design, stakeholder engagement and the development of initiatives designed to create meaningful and sustainable social outcomes.
Prior to establishing Next Wave Supports, Clover worked as a Senior NDIS Business Consultant with National Disability Services (NDS), the peak body for disability services, supporting DHHS-funded organisations through their transition to the NDIS. This provided extensive insight into the NDIS from both participant and provider perspectives, including service design, organisational development and the practical implementation of NDIS supports.
Since its establishment, Next Wave Supports has grown through the combined expertise, knowledge and specialist skills of our team. Our experienced Support Coordinators bring diverse professional backgrounds and a strong understanding of the NDIS, complex support environments and community-based services.
Today, Next Wave is a team of experienced professionals and experts in our field, with particular strengths in Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching. We understand that effective Support Coordination is about much more than navigating a funding package — it is about understanding the individual, identifying opportunities, building strong support networks, connecting people with their communities and helping participants create sustainable pathways towards their goals.
Our approach is collaborative, innovative and person-centred. We value diversity, inclusion, choice and control, and work alongside participants, families, providers and community organisations to achieve practical and meaningful outcomes.
